Not a whole lot.....

The title says it all....there hasn't been a whole lot going on over here. Well there has, but I guess I have been out shopping with Annie too much to even sit down and blog about any of it. Annie learned to get up on her hands and knees and then also to get from a crawling position to a sitting position. She actually did it for the first time when I was video taping her. So you know you get to see it! I was so excited! Now she is trying to master Crawling. She kinda hops for a little bit and then puts one arm out and pushes herself forward. She has made a couple successful attempts at taking one step, or crawl, forward! We will see how long it takes. She likes mimicking all the time. If she hears the kids from "Jon and Kate Plus 8" screaming in the background she will start to do her high pitch scream over and over again until they stop. She is just getting so big. I don't even have to show her where the "feel" part is on her touch and feel books. Once I turn the page she goes right for it! It has been one fun filled day after another over here!

Justin is in his third week of the Academy. And down 13 pounds as of Sunday! He is already looking thinner. I am going to start taking pictures of him weekly to show how fit he is getting! I also am proud to say that I have lost 11 pounds within the past two months...don't ask me how.....I guess my hips are just going back to normal and the baby weight is falling off! (Knock on wood) I have been walking lately for about an hour every night. I can fit into my pants from before I was pregnant! Woohoo! Go us!

Now as for Annie....she is gaining weight....but apparently that is a good thing when you are a baby! Go figure!

This is us at BJ's tonight with my family.

Annie with her daddy's fire helmet! He gets a new one with his name actually put on the hat when he graduates from the Academy.

This is Justin and Annie being bored the other night! Haha!

First Handprints.......Disaster.....

So today I found a hand print kit that we hadn't used yet. So I figured Annie was old enough to be able to be still for ten seconds.......wrong. I got the kit all ready and Justin held her up while I placed her little hand into the clay......one second later.......Annie pulled her hand out with a hand full of the clay! Go Annie! So we took the clay out of her hand and quickly tried to smooth it out again into the molding tray. Second try........same thing......third try.........same thing. Forget it! I left it how it was and thought, oh well....this is kind of funny! So here is our finished product!

Annie and Lucy

Today Katy and I went shopping with the girls. We got them some matching outfits and matching bathing suits for their swim days. We took them to the street fair in their matching jumpers and met Lindsey and her brother -in-law, Jimmy there. The best part of the day was trying to get pictures of the girls in their outfits. Enjoy!

They were both over it in this picture.....

Annie liked playing with Lucy's pig tails....Lucy hated it!
Lucy gives kisses....
Annie wants more.....
We figured out that if we bribed Lucy with little delicious chocolates, she would give Annie kisses!
This is a funny video of Lucy trying to give Annie a kiss and then Annie making her "blowing spit" kissy face towards Lucy. The funny part is, if you watch closely, Lucy does it back to Annie like she thought it was rude or something! And then at the end.....Lucy gets a chocolate and she totally rubs it in Annie's face!

Getting Ready To Take Off......

Yup, Annie is trying so hard to get up and crawl. Today she was lifting her tummy off of the floor over and over again. She started bending her knees up but couldn't quite get the arms to hold her up at the same time. I got video of it. But I had to hide behind the coffee table so that she wouldn't see me and start crying. She is forming a little bit of separation anxiety. If she sees me and I am not holding her, or if I walk past her, she will start to fuss. Awww.....my wittle love bug loves her mommy! It really annoys Justin because when she is upset about something she only wants to be with me. Every time I hand her to him she watches me walk away and starts crying...secretly I love it...Haha! But it is strange, because it isn't like Justin is never around. He is an amazing daddy and he always is the first to get her in the morning, change her diaper, give her a bath, and and play with her on the floor. But I think that him being gone for a whole week at a time is really confusing for her. But now he doesn't have to do that anymore! Woohoo! I get my hubby home every night! And so does Annie! But......besides all that...we all know babies bond with mommies more! Woohoo!

A New Hutch For Me!!!

Today my mother, grandmother, Annie, and I all went to Valencia for some shopping! And......I found the most perfect hutch for my house! It was my dream hutch! It goes with my house completely! I was so excited when I saw it....but new I couldn't afford it. Although it was really cheap! But luckily I have the most amazing grandmother! She offered to pay for it and I could pay her back slowly! Go grandma! Now the hard part.....loading it into my Yukon. It took us about an hour..but we managed to fit it in there. And then all three of us piled into the front row seats and drove 55 all the way home! It was really funny! We had all of our "crap" piled into the back! With Annie safely behind us...... I love my new hutch! Take a look!

Justin had just gotten home from the Academy, so he was standing at "parade rest" waiting to help us unload when we came around the corner! He is so proud of his uniform!

Then we went to Red Brick Pizza for dinner! Yummy.....

This is a video of Justin teasing Annie. She was trying so hard to grab the number sign.

This is a video of Annie trying to grab her little sweet potato puffs. She can't quite get the whole hand and finger coordination down.

Just A Little Update

Our little Miss Annie went to the Doctor a few days ago. She weighed in at 17lbs and was 27 inches long! She was 75% for both and at 50% altogether. The Doctor said she was perfect! She was scheduled for 4 vaccines, however, after many many research over the past months, even before Annie was born, we decided to put off all vaccines until the age of two. I am sure you have all heard about the growing possibility of vaccines causing Autism in so many of our young children today. Doctors disagree and why wouldn't they, they are getting paid for these vaccines. Although they like to deny that fact. There have been no studies to prove the link between Autism and Vaccines, but there also hasn't been any studies proving otherwise. I for one am not going to take that chance. I believe there are many cases where the diagnosis of Autism is clearly due to genetics. But there are even more that prove Vaccines are to blame. Just think about it........in 1994 there were 10 Vaccines that babies had to get before they were two. Today......36. 36 Vaccines being shot into an immature immune system. Many containing mercury...hmm....I am pretty sure when you are pregnant you are not supposed to eat fish because of the mercury level and the harm it can do to the baby....so how is it all of a sudden safe for babies to have high levels of mercury placed into their systems if it wasn't when they were in the womb? I don't get it. I could go on and on....but I would be here forever. A long story short. I spoke to my Doctor who was very understanding and respectful to our decision. He told me there were two vaccines that were extremely important for Annie at this stage and that all others could definitely wait until she was two. In which they would be administered one every six months. After discussing it over with my Husband and mother I agreed to go ahead with the last two. I also made sure they were mercury free, which they say is the reason that so many infants are being diagnosed with Autism. So she got one last week and will get her last one in a month. No MMR Vaccine, which they say is the biggest one that has caused a change over night in children, due to the mercury level that it contains. This was a decision that my husband and I really thought over. We feel that giving a 12 lb infant the same dosage that you would give to a 180lb adult is outrageous. Even our dogs get a smaller dosage of a shot than a lab would. So why not the same for our babies? In no way are we trying to sway any one from doing what they feel is right for their child, this is purely a note pad for me to get something I am concerned about off of my chest. If you are interested in reading up, just to be informed either way, here are some sites.

Also, just go to YouTube and type in "Autism" or "Jenny McCarthy on CNN". And decide for yourself.

Pool Day With Lucy!!

Today, Lucy and Katy came over for a pool day with Annie and her new pool! They both got in their little swim suits a got in the water, after Justin put some warm bath water in with the cold hose water. Annie stayed in the pool, not like she could get out if she wanted to, but Lucy didn't want to go in. She stayed on the outside and splashed Annie the whole time! Then, once Annie got out, Lucy got in! She played in the pool the rest of the time! Me and Katy took some cute pictures and some videos that will not be posted due to the way we both looked! But Enjoy!

Just A Few Pictures.....

Just some pictures of little miss Annie today. She was in a really happy mood and wondered why I hadn't had any photo shoots for her lately. So, we had one! Enjoy!

She was raising her arms up and down and screaming!

Cheese.....

Now I had to post this one because she looked so cute, but me on the other hand.....it was late..... She put her arm around me when I said "lets take a picture" haha, it was so cute! This was the first picture that I was playing with, but I couldn't do the rest, Justin wanted me to go watch a movie with him...

Annie with her new foam letters! She took the "P" and sucked on it for awhile!

This is a video of Annie making a clicking sound with her tongue after I would do it. Listen closely because her click isn't very loud. And it is more towards the end of the video! She likes to imitate us!
