There Is Just NO Time!!

Sorry I have been neglecting my blogger duties.....but there is absolutely no time anymore for posting! Little Annie has gotten pretty good at this crawling thing and once you put her down....she goes! I honestly spend my whole day chasing her around the house and telling her "No" when she gets into stuff! I mean come on! I know I wanted her to crawl....but I never said all the time!

So......since I was unable to do any house work let alone feed myself....I had to come up with a plan! And I did! I have a pretty big dining room area and it was currently not being used because I took our kitchen table out......I did this because I hated the table..it was glass..and annoying...so I put it in the garage and am selling it next week! I figured we will get one when we get a house. So the only thing in the dining room is my wonderful hutch that I purchased a month or so ago.

And now for my brilliant plan........

I, thanks to my mother....., got two kid gates and placed them at both the openings of the dinning room. I then got those foam puzzle floor letters and put them on the hard floor. Put all of Annie's toys in there and placed her little butt inside! She loved it! She played for what seemed like forever! I was able to take a shower and get ready....and no...I didn't just leave her in there and stay in the back. I had her monitor on so I could see her while I was getting ready. And plus...Justin was home so he was watching her and also folding his clothes for work! See all the wonderful things we can do now! It's great. I like to get inside with her and play. I was always the person who didn't want a lot of toys and clutter around my house...but I have to say...this little room of hers looks really fun. And I don't mind all the toys being out because they are out of the way. This gives her plenty of room to crawl about and not have to be picked up and brought back because she is getting to far away!

Great plan if I do say so myself!

If you wanna bring your kids over...go ahead....I have plenty of room for them to play!

Also, Annie got a tooth a week or so ago and is getting her other one. I would show a picture, but lets face it....I can't get her to sit still long enough!

Annie also got to try her first "Bitter Biscuit" the other day. She loved it! Me....not so much......it is really messy. I guess I wasn't expecting it to be that bad. I put her on the carpet with a shirt on and gave her the biscuit. A couple minutes later.....she had it all over her shirt, face, and hands.....and was reaching to touch the floor and start crawling! Yuck! So now..she eats them naked in her high chair over the kitchen floor!

Oh and Justin got spit up on again! This time it was oatmeal!! Yum!!

Ready, Set, CRAWL!

So I know I already posted a blog letting you know that Annie was crawling. But I thought I would post another video, okay maybe two, of her from today. She has already improved her crawling skills so much. She can actually go from one end of the room to the other! But like everyone says...it is A LOT more work! I am always up and down trying to catch her before she gets into something, or sticks something else into her mouth! (She is teething BAD, she has a little tooth poking it's way into the world...and apparently it hurts!) Even the dogs have to watch their toys because she will crawl over to them and start playing with them. Skittles doesn't mind..but Taters isn't quite ready to share yet. It is like our little girl has just gone from a baby to a little person in a matter of days! She gets angry when a toy is taken away. Her little fists get all tight and she makes a little "Argggg" sound. My mom got some good footage of it tonight. But it was on her camera so you will have to wait till I get it! She gets happy when I start singing nursery rhymes to her or read her a book before she takes her naps. I love it. She even crawled over to Justin today when he was on the couch. It made his day! I absolutely loved what she did today..........Erica came over to get some pregnancy "stuff" and we sat and talked on the floor for awhile. Annie kept crawling over to me and pushing herself up onto her knees and trying to get into my lap. She would put her little arms up and look at me like "Mommy, pick me up." Then I would sit her in my lap and she would just listen to our conversations. It melted my heart! It is about time she acts like she needs me! Just kidding! Oh and I failed to mention that while Erica and I were talking for a good 45 minutes....Tater-Tot was running around the neighborhood! He must have gotten out when Erica came in, and luckily, a lady tried to grab him and he ran all the way home. She walked up to our front porch to get him and he started barking at her. Then I realized that he was not in the house and I ran out front to get him! If he hadn't been so afraid of strangers then she might have picked him up and taken him home and I would have never seen my little snuggle bear anymore! It was devastating! But he is okay and safe now! Anyways...enjoy the pictures and videos....sorry this was so long....

This is a picture of Annie in her "Big Girl" stroller for the first time today! We went on our daily walk and may I just say....this stroller is so much easier to push than the bigger one. Plus she loved that she could just kick back and enjoy to breeze!
Me and Justin couldn't decide which video to put up, so he suggested just putting them both up!

Crawling!!!

That's right! Annie is a crawling! She started yesterday at my grandmother's house in front of my grandma and mother. I however was at home throwing up and other such wonderful things........I have been with that little girl since she was born, every day, waiting for special moments like this, watching her try to take the first crawl steps.....and she does it when I am not even there! What the heck! Now, she is not crawling all over the house. But if you put a toy in front of her she will slowly crawl towards it, with a few stumbles and falls. But she does it. I figure within the next week my house with be open season for her! I already got some baby proofing stuff today! It is so cute to see her, she kinda bounces and scoots! Enjoy!!!

Crawling Business.....

Heelllooooo there! Just thought I would do a little update on Annie's crawling progress. She isn't quite there yet, but you got to give her credit for trying! All she does all day long is move. Her routine consists of: roll over, get up on knees, get to sitting position from knees, get back onto knees, rock a little on knees, put one hand in front of the other and.......drop! Haha. It is really cute to see her trying so hard. Although..I have decided that I am not really ready for the whole crawling, getting into stuff, never a moment for me to sit down....stage. I was all happy for her to start doing the "older baby" stuff. But I have to say, I think it is a lot easier when you put her down and know she will be there when you come back with the laundry! Oh well....

I also have some other pictures that I found on my camera..Enjoy!

This was from today, my mom took it of Annie with both arms underneath her! It was really funny. And she stayed like that for 5 minutes or so!
This is how much are little one loves her bottle!
Annie and Lucy the other day. Remember Lucy....."Cheeeeeeeese" haha!
Holding hands...they did that on their own. Annie always looks mesmerized whenever Lucy is around.

Annie and Bella. Told you she loves that bunny!

This video is of Annie and Justin in our room tonight before she went to bed. She aways gets so happy whenever she sees me..you gotta love it! Plus, she has this really loud scream that she does from time to time...Ask anyone who has heard it..it is LOUD! We think she is gonna be a singer some day! I love this video because it just shows how she is these days. Always talking and if you interrupt her or don't pay attention she gets louder or gives you a funny look like "Hey, I am talking over here!"

About a week ago we put Annie's mattress down because we were re-arranging her room so we figured we would do that at the same time! Good thing I did because as I was typing this post I looked over at the monitor and saw her sitting straight up and reaching for the top of the crib to get up......now I don't think she would have been able to pull herself up..but still! She has been able to get herself into a sitting position for awhile, but this was the first time she did it in her crib! She is getting so big!

Annie and Cash's Play Date!

Today my mother, Annie and I went over to my Grandpa Bob's house to play with Cash! Cash is my cousin Beth's little boy. He is 6 weeks older than Annie. They hadn't seen each other since Christmas so it was time to get together. They seemed to like each other, Annie really loves other babies. She is always trying to touch them or play with them. But Cash is able to crawl so it was hard for Annie to keep up. But they played with their toys together and exchanged slobber! It was a lot of fun! Enjoy the pics!

This picture is of Isaiah (my cousin Brianna's boy,Left) Athan and Cash (My cousin Beth's boy's, right) and Annie! So far the only little girl!
This is Grandpa Bob and Annie, we had Bella the Bunny (her attached at the hip sleeping buddy) behind the camera! When she saw it she got so happy!
