Our Pumpkin Patch Trip!

Well, we went to the pumpkin patch a few days ago with little Annie and some friends of ours. They have a blow up obstacle course there that is way too much fun. So we all picked out our pumpkins and headed over the the obstacle course. Let me just say, we are getting way to old for that kind of stuff. All of us were out of breath after the first round! But all in all, we had a really good time and Annie "seemed" to enjoy it too. She got to ride behind a scare crow and sit on pumpkins! Here are some pictures from our trip!

Haha, Justin got a burn on his love handle!!

One Month Old.....

Our little baby is now one month old today! These past few weeks have gone by soooo fast, yet sooo slow. Manly slow during the fun filled nights! Anyways. She is getting so big. She can already lift her head up for a long time. We think she is learning how to smile. She has always smiled since the day we brought her home...but I think that was just gas....but now she is smiling when we kiss her or play with her. She is recognizing us more and can actually follow us! Now..lets get down to the serious stuff.....her poo. Annie's poo is like human poo. It is really gross. Plus the smell...well...I don't even want to write about it. WOW!!! She is going through her baby acne stage. Not very attractive....so we are keeping her inside away from the world..like the hunchback of Notradome..I couldn't tell you how to spell that, the spell checker doesn't even know. haha. Anyways, we really do love to show her off. Here are a few pictures of the past month with little Annie.

Annie Elizabeth Has Arrived!!!

Well, I know it has been a week since she was born. But I have been a little busy...what with all the dirty diapers, constant feedings, painful boobies, pumping, crying (both me and the baby), and all nighters!!! But I am ready to write about our little girl. She was born last Wednesday , the 26th, at 10:54 a.m. She weighed in at 7lbs 3 oz and 21 inches long. I went in Tuesday night after a VERY painful doctors appointment earlier that day. My doctor stripped my membranes. I thought I was completely in labor, but apparently I wasn't. Luckily my doctor had the hospital keep me there and induce me to get Annie out! I was induced at 10:00 p.m., and about 12:00 a.m. things started to really hurt. I had lots of people in and out the whole night. And a group of loyal supporters who stayed with me ALL night long. My husband, my mother, my friend Katy, my mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and friend Kurston. They all cuddled up around the freezing room. I guess I was having hot flashes!!! About 3 a.m. the pain started getting REALLY bad! I didn't want an epidural, but my goodness did it hurt! So they stuck that needle in my back about 3:30 and the heavens preceded to open up! Ahh..sweet relief! However, my left leg was completely numb for 3 days afterwards! Around 10 a.m. I was ready to push. So I began pushing with my husband, my mother, and Katy by my side..seeing ALL of me......sorry guys! I knew that if I didn't push good enough that they would turn the epidural down so I could feel everything a little bit better. So I pushed my heart out so that they wouldn't turn it down on me! Oh and I also got the pleasure of throwing up twice earlier that morning and once during the pushing! How fun! Anyways, she came out at 10:54 a.m. with a crooked nose! Haha. But it is back to normal now. She was so adorable and cried so much. Katy video taped us seeing her for the first time.....thanks Katy for getting some nice crotch shots of me! And then 3 days later my mother accidentally erased that video. But anyways...after she was born I was sick, so the nurse gave me a shot for nausea...lets just say I don't remember any ting from that moment on until late afternoon of the next day. I was out of it...I remember looking at Annie in the little plastic crib thinking.....who the heck is that and why are these nurses playing with my breast!! But all in all, it was a great experience...lots of people got to see my boobs, va-jay-jay, and booty walking too and from the bathroom in my net undies and over sized pad! haha.....Anyways..here are just a few of the hundreds of pictures I have of Annie so far!
