Our little family decided to drive to the beach for the day. We wanted to take pictures of Annie with her feet in the sand and water. So we packed everything up and headed off. We were so excited! So was Annie, she talked most of the way there. But when we got there....all I can say is........WIND......lots and lots of WIND!! It was really windy! We couldn't take her on the beach because the sand was blowing in our faces the whole time. So we scratched that whole idea. (The whole reason why we came....) And we went to the pet store. Annie had fun looking at all the dogs and trying to touch them from the other side of the glass. She wore her little sunglasses all day because of the sand and looked so cute in them. She got lots of compliments! After that,we, I, had a thought! Why not go to Morro Bay and take her on the beach there! It can't possibly be windy! WRONG.... it was even worse. But still managed to buy some flowers for my pots outside, get a hanging Christmas tree shell ornament to match Justin's and mine, buy a glass ball that hangs outside (for my collection), and feed the seals! I loved feeding them when I was younger. So we took her, and she just starred at them. She would reach out her little hands to try and touch them. She thinks everything is friendly! After we threw some chopped up tiny fish with bulging nasty juicy eyes, we went into the little aquarium. We looked at all the fish that have been there for like 50 years....that part was always kind of boring for me. But she liked it, and again, tried to touch all the fish! After that we ate some dinner and headed home. It was a fun day. Nice to get away for awhile! Here are a few pictures and some videos for your viewing pleasure! Enjoy!
This is when we figured out it was too windy to take her onto the beach....sad day....
So Justin drowned his sorrows in "The Scoop" ice cream!
This is us being happy after we both had finally gone pee!
Annie sleeping with Bella the Bunny on the way to Morro Bay. She loves this bunny! She sleeps with it every night and has to have the ears touching her face!
This is us feeding the seals!
These are Annie's fish friends!
This is what Annie's hair looked like when we took her hat off! It is getting so long!
Annie's Dinner! Organic Winter Squash!
Here are two videos........The first one is a video of me trying to feed the seagulls. I didn't think they would actually eat out of my hand, but one little brave guys pushed the others out of the way and stole a Gerber Baby Banana dissolvable Puff! I screamed because his little beak was sharp and it scarred me.....but it also scarred little Annie who was sleeping.....oops....
The second one is a video of us on our way to the beach! Annie was talking, but by the time I got my camera out she kinda stopped, as always.........
